Hello, dear visitor! You are about to discover a bit more regarding the one who's behind Back Then Photography.
My name is Bianca and I am a life enthusiast and photographer based in London.❤️
I am also a full-time accountant and a part-time piano teacher. And if you're wondering if I have time to sleep, the answer is: YES! (but I have to admit, my alarm does ring more than once in the morning & why not, sleeping on my way to the office is very doable haha)
If I would ask my friends to describe me in a few words, I think most of them would say: "she's working too much and doesn't have time for us" (🥲), but I'm pretty sure they would also say that I am a nice girl.
Yes, I love challenges and my favourite part is when I overcome them! And this applies especially in photography. I always try to explore as much as possible, join trends and so on. If you see me coming with a table and two chairs at the photoshoot, trust me, I'm a bit bonkers. But you'll like it!
How did I become a photographer?
I've always been enamoured with photography. I was often that friend that was taking pictures of everyone, and my cousin can confirm as she and her husband were always changing their profile pictures everytime I was visiting them.
Aaand, I was blessed to meet, learn and inspire from a lot of people that were very good in this industry. Of course, it wasn't easy to start my own journey as a photographer since I am self taught and I was never feeling ready enough. But one day I had a chat with this nice friend, who said:
" - You should go to that baby shower and take your camera with you! "
And that's when I said "I'll do it!" and I went for it✨
Why Back Then Photography?
As human beings, we tend to look back at the past. We miss moments, people, we miss us. But the hardest part is when we miss the way we used to feel at some points of our lives, and it's not easy to have that feeling back.
Sometimes, we look at old pictures and smile. And sometimes, we look at old pictures and we can feel a few tears coming out.
My purpose is to make you look 'Back Then' (😉), at those special moments of yours, and not only see but feel. Remember. And be grateful.
Why you shouldn't book a photoshoot with me?
I will tell you why. Because I will make you feel too special.
I will assist you with every single detail - from choosing your outfit, to finding ways of personalising your photoshoot. I will give you tips and tricks and posing ideas in advance.
I’ll tell you if you have hair in your face and if your tags are sticking out of your shirt. I’ll kick waste and monster munch wrappers off the floor if they get in the shot. And most importantly, I will make you feel relaxed and convince you to tell your story in your own, unique way.
